Welcome to the Manufacturing Information Resource Locator (MIRL). Our purpose is to improve the competitiveness of small- and medium-sized manufacturers throughout the United States.

Our method is to use the World Wide Web to support staff who work in centers sponsored by the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The MEP has funded this site as part of its ongoing efforts to assure high quality assistance to small and medium manufacturers in the United States.
